Harbour House Ocean Front Venue Wedding

Brooke + Aiden

Here is a peak into this dusty blue wedding in Melbourne Florida at the Harbour House Oceanfront Venue.

I met Brooke and Aiden about 6 months prior at their engagement session. Which in itself was a dream session at Rockledge Gardens in Rockledge, Florida. Here is a peak at how that turned out.

Getting Ready – Harbour House Oceanfront Venue

Brooke chose to have a smaller intimate wedding at Harbour House Oceanfront Venue in Melbourne, Florida. It had been a rainy and awful week. I was afraid that their wedding day might be bombarded with rain. But luckily this couple was lucky to be blessed with just a few clouds and no rain at all.

Brooke arrived promptly at the venue, already stunning with her hair and make up done by DaryMM. She chose to keep it intimate and didn’t have any bridesmaids along side her. But she did have her closest friends and family with her in the bridal suite where she finished her final touches. As well as putting on her dress.

Aiden chose the same course and got into his suit with his closest buddies alongside him. We had enough time to snap some groom portraits outside. The sunset coming off the beach was perfect for these outdoor portraits.

They chose to do a first look before their wedding ceremony. To share private vows by themselves before committing to each other before their friends and family.

The Details – Harbour House Oceanfront Venue

The details are always my favorite to capture, second to the bridal portraits. It really shows the small details that the bride and groom put together. It’s their way to make everything really personal and all about what makes them, THEM. They included cookies shaped like their cat, a pair of sneakers to dance in and a personalized cake topper!

The Ceremony – Harbour House Oceanfront Venue

The wedding ceremony itself went without a hitch! it was short and sweet. No bad weather and all the closest people in their lives were there to share the moment.

After some time to themselves following the ceremony, we took some bridal portraits with family in front of their wedding arch. Then the bride and groom portraits took place on Melbourne Beach as well as the stairs leading down.

I’m obsessed with ALL of these photos. The wind, sun and couple were all perfect and it made for the dreamiest portraits.

The Wedding Reception – Harbour House Oceanfront Venue

After the wedding ceremony and portraits with friends and family, It was time for cake, dinner and dancing! The couple walked right into their first dance. After that the guests were all directed upstairs where they had dinner with dancing followed afterwards. It was a very smooth wedding, thanks to those who work for Harbour House.
