Soft & Dreamy Photos Inspired by the Sea
Growing up along the coast of St. Maarten, it was impossible to not be inspired by the clear blue waters and gorgeous white beaches. They were the backdrop of some of my very first photos, taken with a basic DSLR I spent an entire summer saving up for.
Now over 10 years later, I may have changed locations and upgraded my gear, but I never lost that initial spark that led me to pick up a camera and start shooting. As a portrait and wedding photographer here in sunny central Florida, I love using the nature we've been blessed with to bring natural light and airiness into my photos. Less is more in my book, and I aim to capture the natural beauty that's already all around us.

I‘ve lived in 4 countries and speak 5 languages (fluent in English, Dutch, and Papiamento, learning French and Japanese).
I love a good iced coffee,
a day at the beach, and a clean house (After I tidy up after 2 kids, 2 dogs and 1 husband).
I don't have many pet peeves, but I need to have a serious chat with the guy who invented bad lighting and sand in my car.

My "Why" Behind It All
Taking photos for a living has introduced me to stories of people in all stages of life. From a young couple on wedding day to a child's first day of school, I take photos that will live on in albums to be flipped through 20, 50, maybe 100 times over the course of several lifetimes.
Our photo albums are bridges to our roots—a way to pass along stories and relive the very best memories. I'm a firm believer that everyone's stories deserve to be told, even long after the moment fades.
