Wedding Details – Cocoa Village Wedding
Check out this Cocoa Village Wedding I had the pleasure to capture. Talk about the sweetest couple ever. I was absolutely shocked when I found out that Miranda and SI had been together since MIDDLE SCHOOL. That is so unheard of in this day and age. I love seeing couples that go against the stereotype of this day and age.
They also had to leave Florida for Mirandas job in the army. So they were back in town to celebrate with their closest friends and family. Miranda got her dress from an absolutely lovely bridal boutique up in St. Louis called Savvy Bridal. Her wedding dress fit her like a glove and took our breathe away.
Getting Ready – Cocoa Village Wedding
Miranda and her large wedding party were so fun to work with! These girls had the music PUMPING when I got to the venue. I LOVE when the bridal party are in a good mood and just making it all about the bride. I found myself bopping to my old high school favorites.
Mirandas girlfriends were on point with getting her ready. She didn’t even need to get professional hair and make up done because these girls knew what they were doing.
Once ready, she had her mother and a close church friend help her with her jewelry and getting into her stunning dress.
Bridal Portraits
It’s uncommon in most weddings now, but this bride and groom opted to not see each other before the wedding. I really love when couples decide to save the first look for the walk down the aisle. We saved their bridal portraits for after the ceremony and look how amazing they came out.
We did however take their solo portraits before the ceremony to save on time. Miranda looked like a classic princess with her soft make up and dainty braids. I absolutely loved everything about her look.
SI was so sweet to work with as well. I could sense a bit of nervousness but he was still so sweet nonetheless.
Reception – Cocoa Village Wedding
This was my first wedding with a broom jump! It was a pleasure to learn about this tradition that is not done where I hail from. Another new for me was Miranda walking down the aisle with two men from her church that stepped up as fathers to her. There were so many tears shed that day, and all out of love.
The couple also had a group of loved ones pray over them before having a sand ceremony. It was beautiful, filled with love and the Holy Spirit!
