Tim and Katie’s Granville Farms wedding was the perfect mix of elegance and FUN. From the lakeside ceremony to the packed dance floor and late-night ice cream truck, their wedding day was truly nonstop fun from beginning to end.
Getting Ready at Granville Farms
The day started with getting ready photos inside the bridal suite while the guys spent time in the grooms suite taking their time and just hanging out. Guys always have it so easy right? Granville Farms has such a peaceful atmosphere with open views, water features, curved walkways, and plenty of space for guests to roam about throughout the ceremony and reception.
Katey wanted a strong focus on details, which included bridal details, groom details, and even nighttime recap detail photos later during the reception. I was especially excited for those because it was something different and creative to incorporate into the gallery.

The bridal sweet at Granville Farms is beautiful but a little cramped. Especially for the amount of girls we had in the room. But we made it work! With the right angles we managed to get some really cute portraits of Katey and her bridesmaids in their matching PJs. The make up artists ( Kiss and Make Up) also did an amazing job. Katey’s make up was absolutely flawless.
While I photographed details and candid moments with the girls, my second shooter, helped document the rest of the morning and capture different angles throughout the property.

Emotional First Looks and Private Vows
One of the sweetest moments from the day happened when Katey got into her dress and her mom immediately started crying. It was so cute, Katey couldn’t look at her mom for fear of crying herself. These are the kind of moments that never get old.
Before the ceremony, Katey shared a first look with her father, who was thoroughly in awe of her. Shortly after that, Katey and Tim met for a private first touch near the water. They stood on opposite sides of a tree, held hands, and exchanged private vows together before the ceremony began. They exchanged tears and laughter. Us vendors made sure to stay nice and far to ensure they had enough privacy during this moment.
Tim also shared a first look with his mom before guests arrived, which gave them a quiet moment together before the excitement of the ceremony.

A Lakeside Ceremony at Granville Farms
The ceremony took place along the curved pathway overlooking the lake and fountain at Granville Farms. The weather was bright and sunny almost the entire day, which made everything glow beautifully during the ceremony. There were even 2 large sandhill cranes that walked across the property which really added to the Florida magic of the day.

As Katie walked down the aisle, I captured drone photos overlooking the ceremony space and the property. The view from above really showed how gorgeous the setting was.
The ceremony itself was emotional, joyful, and beautiful. You could tell everyone there was genuinely excited to celebrate Tim and Katey.
After the ceremony we took full bridal party photos, family photos and the bridal portraits. The bridal portraits were along the waters edge. At that time we had gorgeous sunset lighting that made for the most special bridal portraits.

A Reception Full of Energy
After cocktail hour and family photos, everyone headed inside for the reception. The evening included heartfelt speeches from the bride’s sister and the groom’s brother, followed by their dances with family members and their first dance together as husband and wife.
Once dancing started, the energy completely shifted into full party mode. The groomsmen kept the dance floor alive the entire night, and at one point even started taking their shirts off while dancing, which had everyone laughing.
There was even an ice cream truck that stopped by for an hour to offer late night treats for all the guests. We took that opportunity to grab some fun, playful shots of the bride and groom in and around the truck.
Tim and Katey’s guests brought so much energy and excitement throughout the reception, which made documenting the night incredibly fun.

Ice Cream Truck and Sparkler Exit
One of the most unique parts of this Granville Farms wedding was the late-night visit from Kelly’s Ice Cream. Around 9 PM, the ice cream truck arrived during the reception and guests lined up for cones and desserts while we captured fun portraits of Tim and Katey in and around the truck.
The night ended with a sparkler exit leading toward an Uber waiting to pick them up at the end of the celebration. It was such a fun and fitting ending to an incredible wedding day.
