Not everybody wants to shoot their portrait photos at the beach. Regardless if you are shooting a Maternity, Family or Engagement session; Casa Feliz is a dream.

Casa Feliz – Important Information

This venue is a primarily a wedding venue. Which means during the weekends and during the colder months, there will be weddings taking place. However they do allow photographers to use the exterior parts of the building for FREE. This is amazing, but it means we need to be mindful of when we schedule our session together! Summer months are great for Sunset sessions and Winter is better for Sunrise.

As per their website:
Recreational and private photography on Casa Feliz’s grounds may be conducted without an appointment ONLY during the following hours:

·       Monday and Wednesday – before 11 a.m. and after 6 p.m.

·       Friday – before 11 a.m.

If you wish to have private access to Casa Feliz’s house and grounds for a photo shoot, a rental fee is charged.  Fees begin at $300/hour with a 2 hour minimum.

Casa Feliz – Highlights

There are several highlights that make Casa Feliz a great location for our next session together.

1. Well manicured and curated topiary/foliage.
2. The venue boasts warm red bricks with a pop of accent colors like blue (the doors) and the surrounding greenery. This creates a depth of color and contrast.
3. There is enough shaded areas to make use of during really bright days.
4. The architecture offers a creative foundation for visually appealing shots.
