1010 West Orlando Wedding – Lauren + Cole

A sun-soaked, punk-rock celebration on the perfect November day

Lauren and Cole’s 1010 West Orlando wedding couldn’t have landed on a more beautiful day. November 1st, 2025 showed up with a crystal-clear sky. No clouds, no humidity, just perfect Floridian sunshine. As an Orlando wedding photographer, you pray for wedding days like this.

Getting Ready at the AC Marriott in Downtown Orlando

The day started at the AC Marriott, which is a beautiful hotel in Orlando with modern updated rooms perfect for getting ready photos. Lauren was getting her hair and make up done and her bridesmaids were in full celebration mode the moment we walked in. Snacks everywhere, music up, everyone laughing—exactly the kind of energy you want going into a wedding day.

Meanwhile, Cole chilled in his own room, just as he wanted, relaxing before the rush of the day. Skylar (my second shooter) and I grabbed Lauren’s dress and details and headed down to the lobby to photograph everything against those sleek, modern lines the hotel is known for. It all worked beautifully.

First Look Moments at 1010 West

Once we arrived at 1010 West, we got to work immediately. This venue is an old airplane hangar tucked into Orlando, and it’s such a unique space for couples who want something different from the typical ballroom.

Before guests arrived, we had two emotional first looks. We brought Cole to the front of the venue, and when Lauren walked up and he turned around… it was magic. They just relaxed into each other. The photos have that perfect mix of joy, relief, and “this is really happening.”

Then came the first look between Lauren and her dad. Lauren shared a quiet, heartfelt moment with her dad in one of the back rooms. It was private and sweet. They were looked on by her closest friends and even Cole at the end.

A Punk Rock Wedding Theme with Blink-182 Energy

Inside the hangar, their personality was everywhere. Instead of a traditional guest book, they had a guitar for guests to sign. This was such a perfect touch for their punk rock wedding theme. Blink-182 played throughout the day, setting the tone and keeping the whole celebration. It was the perfect vibe for them and their people.

Their Ceremony & Reception at 1010 West

Once the ceremony wrapped, the reception took off (pun intended). It felt like someone literally l plugged nostalgia into the speakers. Cole’s toast had the room cheering, and their first dance brought everyone right into the moment with them.

One of the sweetest parts of the night was the anniversary dance. Married couples stayed on the dance floor based on how long they’d been married. Watching the longest-married couple dance alone at the end never gets old. In this case, it was Laurens grand parents! Over 50 years married.

A Bubble Send-Off to End the Night

To close the night, Lauren and Cole had a bubble send-off with four giant bubble machines. It was absolute chaos in the best way. They walked through a swarm of bubbles and the guests loved it so much they kept playing with the machines after the couple had already made their exit.
