5.3.25 – Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront
Jillian and Roger were such a pleasure to work with. These two were so laid back and really focused on what what important on their wedding day – each other. The day of, they were so happy to have the planning behind them so they could reap the benefits of their efforts. As soon as the party music started, everyone got to jumping. I love it when a wedding party knows how to let loose!

Getting Ready and Details
Their original venue had fallen through, so a month before their wedding day they had to scramble to find a new location. Luckily The Crowne Plaza in Melbourne Beach Florida came through for them!
As with most weddings, the groom and his buddies were relaxing in the grooms suite. Taking it easy and knocking back beers. However the brides hotel room was quite a similar scene. Jillian was relaxed, having a god time with her best friends while keeping up with the Kentucky Derby. It was such a stress free vibe.
I took this time to grab details of the wedding and couldn’t help but fall in love with their rings. Rogers ring had personalized etchings of things that were dear to him. Jillian opted for a blue diamond. I was floored. They were so unique and beautiful.

Wedding Ceremony
Roger and Jillian opted to do things a little differently. They walked down the island side by side, with just Rogers son and daughter waiting for them at the end of the aisle. The two of them walked down as a unit to tie the knot. Both were met by Jillians close friend who shared heart-felt stories of his friendship with Jillian and praised the loved he saw grow between the two over the last few years.

After being pronounced man and wife, they walked down the aisle and ended in an impromptu dance to one of their favorite songs. I had never seen anything like it, but it was so beautiful and unexpected!

Wedding Bridal Portraits
Roger could not keep his hands off his brand new bride! These two were so sweet to capture. We made use of the ceremony area as well as the beach. Even though we had a crowd of onlookers, you wouldn’t guess it from these photos!

Wedding Reception
The wedding reception started with their grand entrance that segued right into their first dance. Jillian and Roger were than seated while speeches were made by their best friends. Tears were shed and hugs were exchanged all around. Not long after the cake was cut, the DJ set the lights down low and the party started in an immediate full swing! Everyone came READY.
